Which are the different ways of international shipping？Difference between CY/CY and CFS/CFS terms on the BL?

In a very simple way we could answer, there are majorly two ways in ocean freight O/F:

1. Shipping container or Container Yard (CY): one container per shipping order (SO) or multiple containers per BL. A Container Yard is primarily used for FCL (Full container load shipment).

2. Sea Freight Consolidation or Container Freight Station (CFS): Three or more BL are assembled into one container. CFS is majorly used for LCL (Less than container load) shipments.
